hair + skin :: oil mask for hair

1/3c ARGAN, OILVE, AVOCADO OIL
3TBSP CHAMOMILE
2TBSP HiHIBISCUS
1tsp CATMINT, ROSEHIPS
For the treatment of stressed or dry hair, or for regular care.
RECIPE:
To make this oil mask, first steep small doses of chamomile, hibiscus, catmint, and rosehip teas.
While these steep, mix gently argan oil, olive oil, and avocado oil.
After approximately 5 minutes, blend the teas together in the quantities listed above.
Add 1 TBSP of this tea mixture to the oil blend, and stir.
Apply to the hair with a gentle boar bristle brush or with fingers; leave overnight, or as long as suitable.
Store what isn't used in a sterile glass jar, and keep out of direct sunlight.
NOTES:
When washing hair following the hair mask, consider a three-step process -- first, a very small amount of shampoo on the scalp, to remove the oil mask; a second wash, focusing primarily on the hair above the ears (if longer); and conditioner. Follow-up with a daily hair tips oil to protect against split ends and other damage.
For thinner hair consider substituting a lighter oil, such as coconut, for some or all of the olive oil.
To add a pleasant scent to the hair, consider adding a pinch of ground cassia cinnamon to the oil blend.
